Origin story
How Two Cousins Decided to Do It Differently
Ayman Eidi and Ahmad Moubadder grew up together, went to the same university, and built their careers at some of the most reputable general contractors in the industry. They managed complex, high-value projects. They learned what institutional-grade delivery actually looks like.
They also saw where the industry fell short. Too many contractors operate in tiers. Big client? You get the A-team. Everyone else? Slower responses. Less oversight. Lower standards dressed up in the same promises.
In 2018, they founded Key Construction to eliminate that gap entirely. Not by scaling down the service — by scaling it out. The same project management rigor, the same communication standards, the same accountability — applied to every project in the portfolio, regardless of size.
Eight years and $100M+ in completed work later, that approach hasn’t changed. The portfolio has just gotten bigger.
